True Talent Management

rue talent management is training your current employees so they can progress but treating them well enough they wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Human Resources Professionals would tell you the management of an organization's talent involves sourcing, hiring, developing, retaining and promoting its people while meeting the organization’s bottom line.

Talent Management, as the name itself suggests is managing the ability, competency and power of employees within an organization. It is not just about recruiting the right candidate at the right time. True Talent management requires exploring the hidden qualities of your employees, developing and nurturing even the unusual qualities to get the desired results.

Organizations are concerned with hiring the best talent within their respective industry but retaining them once they have joined the team is equally important. Retention of top talent can be difficult. This requires commitment to employee engagement, investment in career development and transitioning them according to the culture of the organization to ensure you are getting the best out of them.

Employee engagement is an element of the relationship between an organization and its employees. Engaged employees are fully absorbed by and enthusiastic about their work and takes positive action to further the organization's reputation and interests. Organizations with high employee engagement is expected to outperform those with "low" employee engagement, all else being equal.

Making the right investment in learning/training and development is integral to retain employees and ensure the organization’s success. This helps to boost employee morale, enhance productivity and increase efficiency.

True talent management is not just about the acquisition of good employees but the interest and ability of an organization to successfully engage and develop the talent.
